Buffalo Daughter - Pshyshic (2003)
Buffalo Daughter have been around since 1993, and they have gained a following from their cut and paste sound collages. However, on Pshyshic they give their listeners a new twist, which features a move away from their trademark quirky collage work to circular tripped-out grooves. Highlights include the opening track "Cyclic" which echoes the lovely sounds of the late 1990's Boredom's records and The Dead Pan Speakers, and "S.O.I.D." which is a sweet, shimmering melodic 7 minute pop gem.
Download this groove laden mini-album and use it as a soundtrack to do something productive or creative!
